Members of a patient partnership met for the first time to find out more about the challenges in public health.

The Harrow Patients’ Participation Network was joined by director for public health for Harrow and Barnet Dr Andrew Howe last week.

The new group aims to be a 'one stop shop', where health and social care decision makers can take into account the views of patients from Harrow.

Dr Howe spoke to members about the challenges and opportunities for addressing local health issues.

The new network will link up the views of patients at all of the borough’s 37 NHS surgeries to help make sure patient’s voices are heard.
