The council budget for the coming year is due to be discussed this week.

There will be a full meeting of Harrow Borough Council on Thursday, February 27, from 7.30pm to discuss the Conservative administration’s budget for the next financial year.

Proposals in the budget have already been reported on and include the introduction of 20 minutes free parking in shopping streets across the borough and a freeze on council tax.

Last year the Tory group said they had made a total of 66 amendments to the proposed budget for 2014/2015 council year.
