Hospital radio volunteers got out of the studio and took music directly to the public to raise money for their station.
Staff from Radio Northwick Park raised £227 for the Harrow hospital's charity when they played music and sang songs at Brent Cross Shopping Centre at the weekend.
Fundraising officer Hannah Ashman said: "This was our first appearance at Brent Cross and it was a true success.
“The shoppers were incredibly generous and we would like to thank them all for their support and generosity."
