Strike action due to begin on the London Underground this evening is expected to cause major disruption across the entire network.
Transport for London says it will run as many services as possible on lines during the 48-hour strike, which will start at 9.30pm this evening and end on the morning of Friday February 7.
Members of the RMT and TSSA unions are to strike in a row over plans to close ticket offices and introduce 24-hour services.
During the strike Tfl hopes trains will run from 7am to 11pm but commuters are warned there will be severe disruption and should give plenty of time to complete their journey.
On the Metropolitan Line, trains will only run between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Aldgate around every ten minutes in both directions.
Services will not stop at Barbican, Euston Square, Great Portland Street, Northwick Park and Preston Road stations.
There will be no service from Harrow-on-the-Hill on the Uxbridge and Watford branches.
On the Jubilee line there will be trains from Stanmore to Finchley Road every five minutes in both directions.
On the Piccadilly line there will be no service in the central area of London.
