A new home for some of the area’s most vulnerable children will be opening its doors to new residents.

The House of Hope, based in Kingsbury, is a new children’s home and will offer a safe environment vulnerable children forced to move away from their families.

It will have the support of family contact workers and social workers to help children living at the home.

Residential manager Dennise Christensen said: “We believe in providing a safe and loving environment, with first class facilities and fully trained and experienced staff, where young people experience acceptance and understanding.

“At House of Hope our aim is to add value to the lives of children in care, by investing quality time and resources in the day to day care of the young person.

“We will endeavour to be child focused when networking with other agencies to bring about the best outcome for young people.”
