Harrow care manager wins national award
A social care manager has won an award for his hard work supporting people with learning disabilities and autism.
Rui Shang is the service manager at Harrow centres run by not-for-profit organisation Dimensions.
On Thursday September 12 he was recognised for his hard work and received the 'Inspiring People’ prize as part of a national award ceremony.
Performance coach Damien Ellis, who nominated Mr Shang, said: “Rui is an exceptional young manager and someone I feel we should try and emulate both his approach and eagerness to learn and adapt within his role throughout Dimensions.
“He manages multiple services and has always been positive and a pleasure to work with during the time I have known him.
“He has a refreshing approach; even under pressure he will approach problems with fun and objectivity.”
Dimensions supports people with learning disabilities and or autism across the country and aims to help them become part of the community they live in.
