Member of the public assaulted at South Harrow Underground Station
An underground station was closed and a man arrested following public disorder at the weekend.
British Transport Police were called to South Harrow Underground Station on Saturday to reports of disorder at the station at 6.10pm.
Officers at the scene found a member of Transport for London staff had been threatened and a member of the public had been assaulted by a man.
The station was closed for some hours as police investigated the incident.
A British Transport Police spokeswoman said a 29-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the incident and has been bailed pending further enquiries.
