Social enterprise to help Harrow reduce energy bills launched
A community-led project to help people cut their energy bills has expanded into Harrow after success in a neighbouring borough.
Energise Barnet CIC, a social enterprise, has launched Energise Harrow to help households save energy and money by installing energy-saving measures and renewable energy systems.
Founder Nigel Farren said: “We are committed to helping the fledgling community energy sector grow and become a force to be reckoned with. It's a challenge and it's early days but we're innovating and evolving all the time.
"It's also about helping councils deliver their housing and public health objectives and the NHS to reduce costs for the benefit of local communities across the UK.”
The company is a point of contact for information, advice for the installation of energy saving measures and renewables in Barnet and will now help provide the same in Harrow.
