Tickets for Harrow Deaf Awareness Day have just been released.

The event, which is being organised by Harrow Asian Deaf Club, will take place in the Civic Centre, in Station Road, on May 13.

The event will give service providers, council staff and deaf people the chance to have their say in the running of services.

It will also give deaf people the opportunity to tell service providers about the barriers they face and what improvements need to be made to increase the accessibility of services.

During the day there will also be a question and answer session which will give deaf people the chance to ask questions about the accessibility of council services, leisure facilities, cinemas and theatres.

The event is free but numbers are limited.
