Harrow man charged after wielding a knife outside Buckingham Palace

A Harrow man has been charged with possession of a blade in public after an incident outside Buckingham Palace yesterday.
Talhat Rehman, 54, of Lindsay Drive, was arrested after being Tasered while holding a kitchen knife to his throat.
This morning he was charged with two counts of possessing a bladed weapon in public and one count of affray.
He will appear in custody at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today.
