Bob Blackman welcomed news that crime in London has fallen
The MP for Harrow East has welcomed the news that recorded crime in London has fallen over the last 12 months.
Bob Blackman has expressed his delight at the latest figures from the Office for National Statistics which showed that recorded crime fell by 2.7 per cent across the capital.
Mr Blackman said: “This means fewer victims, safer streets, and more secure communities.
“Police in London deserve credit for rising to the challenge of cutting crime when money is tight.
“Conservatives are reforming the police and this fall in crime is proof that our reforms are working.”
