Heavy traffic on the M1 south into London is being worsened by queues on the A406 North Circular.
Tailbacks have built up on the M1 between junction two with the A1 at Fiveways Corner and junction one with the A406 at Staples Corner.
The average speed 15 mph and traffic is being hindered delays on the A406, where jams have formed on the westbound carriageway between junctions with the A504 East End Road and the A1 at Henly's Corner.
There is also queueing traffic on the A406 westbound between the A105 Green Lanes at Clockhouse Interchange and the A109 Bounds Green Road.
