Police are issuing a warning to Harrow’s drug users after a sudden death in Edgware.
A 26-year-old man died on Sunday after taking crack cocaine which police fear could have been contaminated.
The warning comes after a second death in Friern Barnet today.
In this case a 48-year-old man, who is believed to have been a user of crack cocaine, died of a suspected heart attack.
Currently, enquiries are continuing and police are awaiting the results of toxicology tests to establish the exact causes of the deaths.
Police are warning people to be very careful when purchasing drugs, to dispose of any crack cocaine that has been recently purchased and to see medical attention immediately if they become unwell after taking the drug.
