HARROW East MP Tony McNulty inspected traditional Afghan embroidered clothes at an exhibition of Afghan women's handicrafts at Harrow Leisure Centre on Friday last week.
The exhibition was organised by the Afghan Reconstruction and Development Association (ARDO), a Harrow organisation that runs aid and development projects in Afghanistan.
The clothing is an example of the sort of home-made goods which are to be made at home by Afghan women as part of the group's recent initiative.
All money raised from the exhibition went directly to Afghan women who have suffered and lost relatives in the recent wars.
