Man arrested for drink driving in Hatch End

A man was arrested for suspected drink-driving yesterday after his car was involved in a crash.

The man’s Vauxhall Corsa hit railings outside Morrisons in Uxbridge Road, Hatch End, at the junction with The Avenue, at 2.30pm. He was arrested at the scene.

A woman passenger was taken to hospital with neck injuries but no other cars were involved.

I hope that he was just driving through. I can't believe that he was a Hatch Ender.

Already been drinking at 2.30pm? A chance would be a fine thing, some of us have to go to work! Thankfully it seems no innocent pedestrians or other road users were injured, just this numpty and his passenger....

Morrisons is such a prime location for so many shoppers, including the elderly.

Its most worrying that someone was already drunk so early in the day and caused this lady to suffer in this manner.Good job no one else suffered injuries.
