A hospital radio station has been nominated for a national award for the eighth year running.
Radio Northwick Park, which broadcasts to the patients of Northwick Park Hospital, is up for Best Station Promotion at this year’s National Hospital Radio Awards.
The award ceremony, hosted by the Hospital Broadcasting Association, will bring together hospital radio stations from across the country at a gala dinner in Northampton at the end of March.
Programme controller Adam Glynn said he was “thrilled” that the hard work that goes into producing Radio Northwick Park is being recognised.
He said: “It’s fantastic that we have been nominated - I'm so thrilled about it. We have such a dedicated team, so the award ceremony is going to be a great opportunity for volunteers to let their hair down after how hard they all work.”
