Harrow Council have said they are “working hard to keep services moving” through the big freeze.
Portfolio holder for environment and community safety, Councillor Phillip O’Dell, said: “Harrow Council’s environment teams are working hard to keep the borough’s streets moving and safe during this period of cold weather.
"Harrow’s mains roads have been well gritted over the weekend and again this morning, with gritting lorries and council staff out around the clock.
"The council's street cleaning teams are also clearing snow from main shopping areas, railway stations and around important facilities such as schools. We are working hard to keep services moving and conditions safe."
