TSG chief to talk in Harrow

11:40am Tuesday 16th March 2010

A SENIOR policeman is coming to Harrow to discuss the role of specialist officers in the Met's Territorial Support Group.

The division has led recent high-profile raids on the Weald Stone Inn and the Stone Rose pub, when dozens of armoured officers swoop in en masse for maximum impact.

Chief Superintendent Mick Johnson will be at the next meeting of the Harrow Police and Community Consultative Group on Monday, March 22.

He will give a short presentation of the role of the TSG, and take questions from residents.

The meeting is also a chance for residents to be updated on police activity in the borough and to quiz senior officers in Harrow on their performance.

The meeting starts at 7.30pm at Harrow Civic Centre.
