Pigeon fanciers raid Wealdstone shed

POLICE are hunting for thieves who stole two prize pigeons from a shed in Wealdstone.

The birds, each worth £400, were snatched from the pigeon shed in Stirling Road between 6pm on Saturday, March 6, and 8.30am on Sunday, March 7.

The 71-year-old owner of the birds reported them stolen when he discovered the break-in on Sunday morning.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to call 0300 123 1212, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
