Pedestrian knocked down and injured in Stanmore

POLICE have shutdown Stanmore Broadway this afternoon after a pedestrian was hit by a car.
The incident happened earlier this afternoon, forcing police to cordon off the main road between London Road and Stanmore Hill.
Paramedics and police are on the scene.
