MORE than 300 bus workers have walked out in Harrow and Edgware this morning in a dispute over pay.
Picket lines have been set up at the Harrow and Edgware depots following the 24-hour walkout, which started at 3am today.
The workers, for Sovereign Buses, have made the stand to call for a pay rise for some of the lowest earning members, including some who are paid £6,000 less than similar workers.
Bus routes across the borough have been severely affected, with twelve routes not operating today.
They are: 13, N13, 114, 183, 292, H9, H10, H11, H13, H14, H17, and 398.
