Drivers are facing severe delays due to a burst water main.
The North Circular is shut eastbound between the Brent Cross Interchange and Brent Street.
It is expected to remain closed this evening.
There are long queues on the North Circular approaching the closure from Neasden all the way to Brent Cross.
It has had a severe affect on the A5 in both directions, particularly between Station Road in Hendon and Cricklewood Lane.
The A41 Hendon Way is also busy northbound over the fly over while Finchley Road in Golders Green has also been heavily affected. The A502 is also busy.
All local routes in the surrounding area are busier than usual.
