A scooter and powered wheelchair shop has been praised for going the “extra mile” as it scooped a national customer service award.

The Ability Matters Group dealership, based in Oxford Road, Wealdstone, was presented with the ‘Dealer of the Year’ prize at the Motability Scheme Awards.

It received a customer feedback score of 9.8 out of 10 and judges praised its commitment to providing an excellent overall service.

Commercial manager Lyndon Reeks said: “We are so proud to have won such an esteemed award.

“The team in our Motability Dealership in Harrow works tirelessly to ensure our customers are safely mobile, without interruption, every day of the year, and we’re thrilled to be recognised for it.
