A four-year-old boy has died after being hit by a car.
Police were called by the London Ambulance Service to Montrose Avenue at the junction with Burnt Oak Broadway, in Edgware, at 7.15pm yesterday (Wednesday, April 19).
The child was taken to hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
His family have been informed.
A post-mortem examination will be held in due course.
The driver of the car involved stopped at the scene and is helping police with their enquiries.
No arrests have been made.
