A candle is believed to have caused a fire in the roof of a house.
Six fire engines and 35 firefighters were called to a blaze at a house in Hillside Road, Pinner, on Saturday, March 18, at 9.26pm.
The roof of the two storey detached house, as well as half of the first floor, was damaged by the fire.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is believed to be candles.
London Fire Brigade spokesperson said: "Candles are one of the most common causes of fire.
βItβs really important that you never leave a candle unattended and keep them away from curtains and anything else that can easily catch fire.β
