Two 11-year-old pupils organised a swimathon which raised thousands for charity.
Anaiya Doshi, who attends Alpha Preparatory School in Hindes Road, Harrow and Devina Bathija, who goes to Orley Farm School, in Harrow, swam 200 lengths in under two hours at St Margaret's School, in Bushey, on March 11.
More than 25 members of Harrow Swim School also took part in the challenge to raise more than £2,400 for St Luke's Hospice, in Kenton.
Some of the other swimmers included Devina Bathija, Anaiya Doshi, Aaliyah Ansari, Laura Sharrock, Luby Coyle, Alex Coyle and Lauren Prestland.
Anaiya said: "Even though I was tired, watching my friends swim with me kept me going."
Devina added: "That was a really big challenge, but I couldn't have completed without the supporters and also my swimming teachers. Thank you'.
