A Harrow man is now on sex offenders register after pleading guilty to touching a woman at North Harrow London Underground.

Andreas Sispanlan of Beaumont Avenue, Harrow, pleaded guilty at Westminster Magistrates' Court to touching a woman who was walking through the station on September 9.

Sispanlan has been placed on the sex offender register, given a community order of a 100 days, and a rehab activity requirement for 60 days and told to pay £100 in compensation and £85 as a victim surcharge.

PC Mark Luker with the British Transport Police (BTP) said: “Everyone has the right to travel on the rail network without fear or intimidation.

"This woman was making her normal journey into work when Sispanlan targeted her.

"I am pleased she came forward and reported the incident as a result this man has now been placed on the sex offenders register.”
