A Harrow School has been awarded the best sixth form college for 2017.

St Dominic’s School sixth form college in Mount Park Avenue, Harrow, has been awarded the number one spot by The Sunday Times.

Harrow Councillor Ameet Jogia for the Canons ward, a former pupil of St Dominic’s School and said: “I was so proud to hear that they were voted the Sunday Times best College of the Year."

"I remember St Dominic's always pushing us to go that extra mile. It's much more than just a Sixth Form, the college instilled values within us that got us where we are today."

"I congratulate the Head and the team for their achievements. They have all made us very proud of this great Harrow institution."

Headteacher Andrew Parkin said he was delighted with the news.

Mr Parkin said: “This is a great honour for the College, for Catholic Education and for all those students and staff, past and present who have contributed to our success over the last 37 years.”
