You'll have to wrap up warm again before you head out today, it's going to be a cold one.

But what are the roads and rail network looking like?

Here’s all you need to know for the day ahead.

7.20am

Weather:

A cold and frosty start, with any mist or freezing fog patches clearing through the morning.

Then another dry and cold day will follow with good spells of sunshine. Highs of 4C. Lows of -3C.

Roads:

Drivers are being warned of icy conditions on the roads.

There is traffic on the M1 southbound between junction 6 and 4 after a car spun out onto the hard shoulder at J4.
