A special Winter Wonderland event at Harrow’s St Luke’s hospice branch was supported by more than 300 members of the community.

The Christmas event in Kenton Road Harrow, included musical performances from local artists, and children were excited to meet Santa Claus in a special Grotto creates for the day.

Staff at the hospice were delighted that more than £2,000 was raised on Sunday November 27, and are now inviting people to take part in their annual Santa Dash next month.

The three-mile race welcomes people of all ages from across the borough to take part, as well as any family pets who want to join in.

A spokesperson for the St Luke’s Hospice said: “Thank you to everyone who came along and to all the volunteers who helped on the day.

"A special thank you to the Harrow District Masonic Centre who generously donated their venue for St Luke’s Hospice.”

St Luke’s Hospice looks after people suffering from cancer and other illnesses.
