Controversial Xfactor rapper Honey G has been called a 'joke' by singer Boy George.
Real name George Alan O'Dowd, has said the Xfactor is 'ridiculous' for a singing show, and slammed Harrow rapper Honey G.
Anna Georgette Gilford, 35, known as Honey G, is from Harrow and was put through to the live shows after a ‘risky’ decision by judge Sharon Osbourne.
In an interview on Good Morning Britain on Wednesday morning, Boy George said: "The reason why pop music's so bad is because the public has been dictating the art form.
“All these shows, everything's a format so nobody's really individual anymore. Honey G "would be a great Britain's Got Talent contestant. But for a singing show, it's ridiculous."
“The fact that Freddy (Parker) got sent home and other people got sent home and she (stayed). It's like a joke, it's a joke.”
Honey G has previously said: “I'm going to put North Weezy (north west London) right on the map, baby.”
