Students at a special needs school in Edgware have celebrated their outstanding achievements at a graduation ceremony.

Parents, carers and staff beamed with pride on Tuesday as the Year 6 students at Woodlands School, on Bransgrove Road, received their certificates and trophies from the Mayor of Harrow, Councillor Rekha Shah.

Head teacher Anna Smakowska said: “We are very proud of all our pupils’ hard work and efforts this year, especially our graduates.

“We will miss them very much and wish them the very best as they embark on a new journey at their new schools.

“It is a very special occasion that allows us to celebrate our pupils’ achievements. It is also an opportunity to say thank you to real heroes – parents and families of our pupils who made this happen.”

Woodlands School caters for a wide range of pupils with complex and profound learning difficulties.
