HARROW has voted to remain a member the European Union.
A total of 45 per cent of residents want out while 55 per cent think we should stay.
But there are still more than 100 areas waiting to declare and the results are not expected to come in until breakfast time.
It has been a tense and nail-biting evening and leave are currently in the lead at 54 per cent of the votes.
Earlier this evening, Harrow Council leader told us he was hopeful Remain would prevail in Harrow – and the rest of the country.
He said: “I’ve always thought Britain is better together. If you look at the issues we’ve got, such as global warming, they can only be dealt with if we work together.
“That’s what the EU is about – working together to solve problems. In a world of global trade, a market of 500million people versus 65million is much better.”
