Students create mosaic to inspire children in Harrow to keep fit
Students have created a mosaic to inspire children in Harrow to keep fit.
The Year 8 pupils from Rooks Heath College, in Eastcote Lane, designed the artwork symbolising movement and keeping fit for Rumble Tumble Harrow.
The group, who also created a range of hand painted figures to reinforce the theme, worked for several months to complete the project.
Indoor soft play centre Rumble Tumble wanted the mosaic to help teach the children who visit about keeping fit and help them learn about shapes, sizes, numbers.
Children sit around the mosaic and count the various objects displayed from Lego pieces to cars to animals as well as shiny materials and the heart-shaped tiling.
