A care home in Harrow took part in celebrations for Burns Night.
Residents at Rowanweald Residential and Nursing Home on Weald Lane, Harrow engaged in festivities to celebrate the life of Scottish national poet Robert Burns on January 25.
There was a traditional Burns Supper featuring the customary ‘Address to a Haggis’ practice, followed by music and dancing from the Harrow and District Caledonian Society, as well as a bagpipe performance from Bruce Wilkie.
The home’s manager Noreen Adedeji said: “We were so pleased that the Harrow and District Caledonian Society could join us to mark this event, our residents had the most fantastic evening full of dancing and music and we look forward to welcoming them back again soon.”
