A Bushey man found dead outside a cemetery has been described as “kind and generous” by a former colleague.
Simon John Lockstone, of Ashfield Avenue died when the Fiat Panda he was driving crashed outside Edgwarebury Cemetery in Edgware early on Wednesday, September 9.
Mr Lockstone used to work at Letchmore Heath-based charity IGD, which helps research and train those in the food and consumer goods industry.
Nikki Olins, of Dunsmore Way, Bushey, worked with Mr Lockstone during her time at the charity.
The 57-year-old, who now works at Furniture Medics in Watford, said: “He was a kind and generous man who was always very helpful and nice to me.
“I am really sorry to hear this tragic news.”
A post-mortem recorded the cause of Mr Lockstone’s death as decapitation.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash on Edgwarebury Lane. An inquest into the 57-year-old’s death was opened and adjourned last week.
Mr Lockstone’s death is not being treated as suspicious.
