Friends can come together and swap stories at a reunion to celebrate the achievements of their former school.

Staff at Claremont High School Academy in Kenton are searching for past students and old school friends to join together in 2016.

The school, which recently achieved an outstanding Ofsted report in two consecutive inspections, and its staff would like to show off their achievements to past students by hosting a reunion for those who attended the school between 1950 and 1990.

With the reunion planned for Sunday, March 6 next year, the organising committee hope to use the evening to offer tours of the schools, speeches and performances.

A series of memorabilia boards will also be put up for the night, where students  can place their photos, speech day reports, even old blazers, ties and caps.

It is hoped an official Claremont Alumni will be created after the event with regular get togethers, newsletters and school events.

To attend, email Martin Rose at the Claremont organising committee on DANCE4UK@AOL.COM and we will send an application form and more details.
