Train enthusiasts can combine steam travel with tea and cake for a late summer treat.
Customers can travel back in time on a restored steam train this summer, treating themselves to a one-off retro tea experience at a pop-up tea room.
London Transport Museum has teamed up with ‘Tea Darling’, organisers of vintage tea parties, to create a pop-up tea room at Watford station from September 12 to 13.
After passengers enjoy tea and cake at the station, the steam train will be pulled by steam locomotives on a journey to or from Watford Tube station.
Customers will be able to choose from three journeys, including from Harrow-on-the-Hill to Watford via Chesham, a return journey to Watford via Chesham and a single trip from Watford to Harrow-on-the-Hill via Chesham.
Further information about tickets and prices will be available at www.ltmuseum.co.uk
