A mechanic accused of strangling a lawyer to death in her family home could face trial next year.
Elizabeth Nnyanzi, 31, who attended Cheltenham Ladies’ College, was found dead at the house she had shared with her parents and two sisters in Northumberland Road, North Harrow, on Friday, August 14.
Peter Kibusu, 23, was arrested the day after her death and appeared at the Old Bailey yesterday accused of her murder.
Speaking only to give his name at the hearing yesterday, he will now return to the court on November 5 for the next mention hearing.
A provisional date of February 1, 2016, has been set for his trial.
Kibusu, a friend of Miss Nnyanzi’s, was thought to have been staying with the family at the time of her death.
The case continues.
