Appeal launched after man, 79, hit by car
Witnesses are urged to come forward after a 79-year-old man was hospitalised after being hit by a car.
The Metropolitan Police were called at about 1.30pm on Friday, July 17 to the collision involving a Toyota Yaris and a male pedestrian on the eastbound Uxbridge Road between Ross Close and Carrington Square, Harrow Weald.
The man was taken to hospital by ambulance where he is being treated for a number of fractures.
The driver of the Toyota stopped at the scene and no arrests have been made.
Anyone who witnessed the crash should call officers from the Roads and Transport Policing Command on 020 8991 9555.
