Volunteers snapped on their rubber gloves to tackle litter louts in a historic park.
Around 20 volunteers joined members of the Friends of Canons Park's Steering Committee last weekend in a two-hour litter pick during which they filled 30 large bin liners with rubbish.
A smart rucksack was even traced back to its owner in Chandos Crescent, and was delivered to him by the group that night.
The friends group has spent the past three years campaigning for extra litter bins and has recently been able to procure five more bins, which are currently in the process of being installed.
