A teenager said goodbye to her long locks after making the cut for charity.
Natasha Sahasrabudhe has been growing her waist-length hair for a few years, but went under the scissors on Sunday to have 20 inches cut off for the Little Princess Trust, which makes wigs for cancer patients.
The adventure-loving teenager has also used the event as a way to raise fund for an expedition this summer to Costa Rica, organised by charity Raleigh, which aims to help build a more sustainable future for communities in need.
So far, she has raised more than £850 of her £1,000 target.
She said: “I am a rather impatient person, so it has been quite a learning curve for me to maintain long hair.
“Raleigh aims to inspire young people such as myself to carry out much needed work, and I hope to gain an insight into new cultures, ways of living and becoming a global citizen.”
