A soft play centre for young families and children with autism has officially opened to the public.

Play centre Rumble Tumble, in Bruce House, Sovereign Place, Harrow, hosted families and community members for its launch event on January 24.

The centre will provide a wide range of facilities for children aged up to ten, and also offers a dedicated area for toddlers and a “sensory” area for children with learning disabilities such as autism.

Centre co-founder Varsha Joshi said: “Our soft play area gives children the opportunity to be physical challenged, creative and social, in a safe and contained environment. We have also kept parents in mind by providing a relaxing café area, with food made to order and full Wi-Fi service.”

The ribbon was cut by Conservative parliamentary candidate for Harrow West Hannah David.

She said: “Rumble Tumble offers a fantastic facility for families with young children. I was particularly impressed to see that the centre aims to be fully inclusive, and provides dedicated services for children with autism.”
