Children and adults can join a world of fantasy for an hour or two as part of National Storytelling week.
Pinner man Del Reid started National Storytelling Week 15 years ago on behalf of the Society for Storytelling.
His daughter, professional storyteller Rachel Rose Reid, often tells stories at many interfaith events in Harrow.
Parents, children and grandparents can enjoy a free family story telling event held at Pinner Library, in Marsh Road, on Saturday, February 7 from 2.30pm – where they can experience interactive storytelling and are invited to read their own short stories.
For the adults, ‘Storytelling for Grown Ups’ will be held from 7.30pm on February 4 at West House, in Pinner Memorial Park, for anyone over the age of 14. The event costs £4, and money raised will go wards the Heath Robinson Trust charity.
