Bill payers to benefit from energy switch scheme
More than 600 people are set to benefit from lower energy bills this winter thanks to a supplier switch scheme.
The 608 bill payers from Harrow signed up to the latest round of the London-wide Big Energy Switch scheme.
Those who have signed up could save up to £250 on their bills and could be in with a chance of winning to win a year’s free gas and electricity up to £1,200.
The scheme, which has been run locally by Harrow Borough Council, uses the collective buying power of people from across the capital to force energy prices down.
