A community gardening group hosted an annual apple day to celebrate this year’s harvest.
The Hoi Polloi group held the apple day in at the Grim’s Dyke Hotel, in Old Redding, on Sunday October 12.
More than 100 people attended the event which included a performance from the Whitethorn Morris dancers.
People also got the chance to sample cider produced from the Gilbert Orchard on the hotel site.
The Hoi Polloi group aims to connect people with apple trees in their gardens with companies who can use them for cider, apple juice or chutneys.
