Volunteers have been putting the final touches to paintwork at a church in time for a two-day craft event.
St Anselm’s parish church will be holding an open crafts weekend on Saturday October 4, and Sunday October 5, as part of Pinner Arts Week.
For the past two weeks volunteers have been painting the 30ft gothic archways of the building in Westfield Park, Hatch End in preparation for the free two-day event.
On both days doors open from 11am to 3pm there will crafts on display including hand-made silver jewellery, wood carvings, paintings and the millennium embroidered tapestry, all from the surrounding area.
