Post Office to close for refurbishment
A post office is set to close for a week and a half while it is refurbished.
Stanmore Post Office, in Church Road, Stanmore, will close on Wednesday, October 8 while a new open plan layout is installed.
The refurbished shop will reopen on Tuesday, October 21, with extended operating hours throughout the week and with longer opening hours on Saturday afternoons.
Customers wanting to use Post Office services have been told their nearest branches are in Spur Road, Edgware, and in High Street, Bushey Heath, Bushey.
