A leisure centre is offering people in their teens and early 20s the chance take part in traineeships to experience work in the industry.
Leisure operator Everyone Active, which runs Harrow Leisure Centre in partnership with Harrow Borough Council, is offering people aged from 16 to 24 the opportunity to take part in a ten-week training programme.
The leisure centre, in Christchurch Avenue will hold an assessment day on Wednesday October 1, giving those interested a chance to sign up.
Everyone Active training manager Harvey Gosling said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for young people to get hands on experience of working in the leisure industry in a variety of roles and learn some transferrable skills along the way.
“The programme also guarantees an interview for our very successful apprenticeship schemes. Most of our apprentices go on to full-time jobs in Everyone Active Centres so this is a great route to a career in a fun and rewarding industry.”
