A charity shop was given 30kg of Fairtrade chocolate to use in its Easter window display.

The Oxfam shop in Pinner was donated the confectionery by the Divine Chocolate company, to sell and raise money for the charity.

The bars have been used in the front window of the charity shop in Bridge Street, which also features Easter illustrations by University of Westminster student Noami Kratz.

Pinner councillor and long time supporter of the charity shop Councillor Lurline Champagnie visited the display.

She said: “I think it’s a lovely display this year and I think the public have really enjoyed it. I have been a long supporter of Oxfam and I think they always do great work.”

Last month two Ghanaian chocolate farmers from the Kuapa Kokoo co-operative, which provides coco for Divine, visited Harrow as part of Fairtrade Fortnight.
